phone lines and a broadband connection!

Customer IP PBX
The customer PBX converts the voice traffic to IP for transfer to Imagine's IP core network. If the customer PBX is not IP enabled, Imagine can provide an IP adapter (Patton SmartNode) to do this conversion.
Broadband IP Connection
A broadband IP connection is required to transfer calls from the customer site to Imagine's network. This connection can use a high quality Imagine service or can be provided by a third party provider. The most important thing is that there is sufficient capacity on the broadband connection to carry voice traffic and that it is of sufficient quality.
IP Core Switch
Imagine has dedicated carrier class voice infrastructure at our Data Centre in Barrow Street.
This includes an industry leading Sonus IP switch and Nortel DMS to terminate your voice traffic and pass it through
to
the PSTN.
